SAMEE's Partnerships

At the SAMEE charity, we aim to expand our network and grow partnerships which will provide the best opportunities and best practice for the young people. We have created partnerships through organisations such as BASE, ERSA and NCFE.

Additionally, we are members of the Careers Development Institute (CDI), which gives us access to professional registration, training and platforms to connect with fellow practitioners.

Vocational Profiling

When a young person joins one of our programmes, we ask them to complete a vocational profile. A vocational profile is a person-centred approach to finding out what a young person wants to do and provides an opportunity to understand what a person is interested in and to explore why.

A vocational profile allows the young person to have a voice right from the very start of one of our programmes.

Gatsby Benchmarks

The Gatsby Benchmarks were developed on behalf of the Gatsby Foundation by Sir John Holman. They define what world class careers provision in education looks like and provide a clear framework for organising the careers provision at your school or college

At the SAMEE Charity we aim to complete 100% value of each Gatsby benchmark for all our students. Everything we do is about careers and setting the young people up for the brightest futures that suit their aspirations, goals and work with their challenges.

We provide holistic support through our programmes which aims to break down the true aspirations of the young people into manageable steps to help them reach their goal. Each step is relevant to achieving one of the 8 Gatsby benchmarks.

Higher Education Routes

Below is a list of higher education routes and training organisations which our students explore with the support from the SAMEE team. We respect that higher education is a key element of skill development within young people, however, the term higher development will look very different for everyone based on their challenges and aspirations.
